Private residence – West & South Terraces

To create these stunning terraces around the property, the project combined a complete re-design and build of the existing West & South terraces. Our team worked with new York stone and brick paviers for the paving, and new York dry stone walling which faced the extensive retaining walls that were built to retain the new levels of the terraces, which blended perfectly with the natural surroundings.
One of the two main focal points was the large tiered water feature combining a grid layout of foaming jets and a water blade. The second main focal point is the intricate centre spiral which was created using cut new York stone, clay slips and brick on edge. To create a soft landscaped effect, the project was finished with turfing, ornamental trees and a variety of plants including roses for a colourful finishing touch.
